When is Power Book IV: Force out?

Power Book III: Raising Kanan is schedueled for release in Autumn 2021, so fans can expect Power Book IV: Force to air in late 2021 or early 2022.

But first, Power fans will be treated to Power Book II: Ghost, which premeires today at 21.00hrs ET on Sunday, September 6 on Starz.

Book II: Ghost consists of 10 episodes, split into two parts, so Book III and Book IV are expected to follow suit.

Fans can watch Power Book IV: Force when it airs via Starz in the US and Netflix in the UK. The article will be updated when more information is available.

Starz President of Programming Christina Davis said: “Power has been one of the most successful series in premium pay television during its six-year run, garnering more than 10 million multiplatform views in its last two seasons and we can’t wait to take fans in a whole new direction as we pick-up Tommy’s story with Power Book IV: Force.”

Who will star in Power Book IV: Force?

Power’s Joseph Sikora will reprise his role of Tommy Egan in Power Book IV: Force. Sikora’s most recent role since the end of Power is as Frank Cosgrove Jr in Ozark, which is streaming on Netflix now.

He also starred in the 2019 film, Jacob’s Ladder as Paul Rutiger, alongside Michael Ealy, Jesse Williams and Nicole Beharie.

At the moment, the cast of the third Power spin-off has not yet been confirmed.

Former Power cast members, Michael Rainey Jr., Naturi Naughton, Mary J. Blige and Cliff “Method Man” Smith have reprised their roles for Poeer Book II: Ghost, so fans can expect Power cast members to appear in Power Book IV: Force.

What will happen in Power Book IV: Force?

Power Book IV: Force was originally supposed to air on screens after Power Book IV: Influence.

However, things have changed at Starz and Force will now arrive before the Infleunce sequel, which has now been renamed as Power Book V: Influence and will follow politican Rashad Tate (Larenz Tate)

Power Book IV: Force will follow Tommy Egan and his life after leaving New York for Los Angeles in the Power finale.

Sikora spoke to the Chicago Sun Times about his character’s fate at the end of Power. He said: “He’s lost everything. He is absolutely empty. He’s a super shell of a man.

“I think the exciting part about that, if there was a continuation for Tommy, was: How is he going to fill that shell back up and what becomes of that man?

“Just like when they say you can never go home again, can you ever really be the same person again? It’s a lot of questions that we end up with.”

Speaking to Variety, Jeffrey Hirsch, president and CEO of Starz said: “In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time.

“These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set Power in a class of its own.”
